About
Painting has now stopped, but my hands are now making pen or pencil drawings. I also create compositions.
I drew my inspiration during the many travels in the mountains of France and especially of Spain. The hikes in the mountains and along the coasts with the sea, the stones, and the space.
Sound and color: the atmosphere is sound and the mood is color. Together they are in motion. In every painting, I see a story, as well as in a piece of music.
My education: the Amsterdam Conservatory, flute. Then Rietveld Academy: free graphics. I am still busy with music and with drawing and collages.
At home, I still have many paintings for sale in a separate room.
I no longer make large paintings, only drawings. Now music is very important to me. Especially singing. I now realize that painting and making music are very close together. I continue to compose, sing, and draw. Movement in shapes and colors.
